Overview

TrustOTP is a privacy-first, offline authenticator app designed with transparency and user trust in mind. The app does not require accounts and does not collect personal data.

Data Collection

TrustOTP does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All TOTP secrets and account information are stored locally on your device using the iOS Keychain. These secrets never leave your device and are never transmitted to any server.

TrustOTP does not use cloud sync, backups, or third-party storage for authentication data.

Analytics

TrustOTP uses TelemetryDeck and Mixpanel to understand how the app is used and to improve stability, performance, and user experience.

These analytics tools collect anonymous, aggregated usage data only and do not collect or store personal authentication data such as TOTP secrets or account information.

Neither service has access to your authentication codes, secrets, or stored accounts.

Permissions

TrustOTP may request camera access solely for scanning QR codes when adding new authentication accounts. Camera access is optional and is never used for data collection or storage.
