Overview

AuthenX is a privacy-first, offline authenticator app designed with transparency and user trust in mind. The app does not require accounts and does not collect personal data.

Data Collection

AuthenX does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All TOTP secrets and account information are stored locally on your device using the iOS Keychain. These secrets never leave your device and are never transmitted to any server.

AuthenX does not use cloud sync, backups, or third-party storage for authentication data.

Analytics

AuthenX uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous, aggregate usage analytics. This data is used only to understand how the app is used and to improve stability and usability.

TelemetryDeck does not collect personal information, does not track users across apps or devices, and does not use device fingerprinting. TelemetryDeck is GDPR compliant.

Permissions

AuthenX may request access to the camera solely for scanning QR codes when adding new authentication accounts. Camera access is optional and is never used for data collection or storage.

Data Security

All sensitive information is stored securely on your device using system-provided security mechanisms. AuthenX is designed to operate fully offline and does not expose secrets to external services.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this document.
